Multilingual English Learner Program
(ML-EL Program)
The ML-EL Program is designed for multilingual students who are acquiring English as an Additional Language. Using VT’s WIDA English Language Development standards as a foundation of instruction, students increasingly develop English listening, speaking, reading and writing proficiency across content areas. In addition to developing English language proficiency for academic and career purposes, we celebrate the assets multilingual students share with our school and greater community and serve to bridge cross-cultural communication and transitions in a new school community for students to succeed and thrive.
