 Cell Phone Policy at BUHS

  • Cell phones will remain in backpacks or lockers during class, advisory or study hall
  • ​Cell phones must be off or on airplane mode
  • Cell phones visible in class will be confiscated
  • ​Wearable devices such as smart watches must have notifications turned off.
  • Cell phones may be used in the cafeteria/ courtyard during lunch and in hallways during block class passing time only​If a parent or guardian needs to contact their students, they will contact the front office (451-3400).  If a student needs to contact their parent or guardian, they should go to their house office. 
  • Not following the policy will result in a consequence as outlined below
  • ​The health office, auditorium and library are cell phone free zones throughout school day
  • As per the handbook, the district is not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen communication devices
