Cassie lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband, three sons, and two dogs.  Prior to becoming the interim principal, she has worked in the Special Education field, with a wide variety of students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs. She has a background in trauma informed teaching and restorative practices. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors.  She is excited to be part of Brattleboro Union High School, working with such amazing students and staff.  Go Colonels!

Traci Lane

Traci Lane lives in Springfield VT. She comes to BUHS with 30 years of experience in education. Traci began her teaching career as a science teacher, language arts tutor and soccer coach at The Landmark School in Beverly MA.  Traci spent a decade at Landmark teaching, leading and growing as a dedicated educator.  She earned her M.Ed. with a concentration in special education Simmons University 2000.  In 2002 Traci moved to New Hampshire where she taught science, was a special education case manager, and developed specialized programs for students with learning, cognitive, and emotional needs at the RSEC Academy in Amherst, NH.  In  2011 Traci moved to the NH public school system where she spent 10 years in the Milford School District.  Traci worked in several leadership capacities in both special education and regular education with passion for diversity, equity and inclusion, civic responsibility, and building positive school culture. Traci served as an assistant principal in the ConVal NH school district prior to joining the BUHS team as assistant principal.

Hannah Parker
Assistant Principal -Grades 10 & 12

Hannah Parker lives in Dummerston Vermont with her husband, children and family dog.  Hannah has spent twenty plus years in education as a high school social studies teacher, elementary and middle school counselor and special education social worker.  Hannah brings a commitment to collaborate with students, staff, families and community to make BUHS the best it can be for each individual person within this school community.  In Hannah's time as a school counselor she embraced many opportunities to enhance her knowledge base through a trauma informed lens. Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends and family, running and traveling.  ​
